inDrive launches Set-Your-Own-Price ride-hailing app in Delhi NCR

New Delhi [India]Nov 2 (ANI/PNN): With more than two billion trips completed worldwide, inDrive, an international ride-hailing platform, is disrupting the ride-sharing industry by allowing passengers and drivers to negotiate reasonable fares among themselves.
And now the global ride-sharing service has arrived in New Delhi, the capital of India.
InDrive is a People Driven company that believes that there is no technology in the world that can replace human empathy. inDrive exists to prove – apps that can and should be more human. Because a fair price is something that can be agreed upon, not hoped for.
Key functions in inDrive
Fair prices
Unlike other services that have pre-established algorithms; the cost of the service is agreed between passenger and driver and does not depend on traffic or weather conditions.
Safety first
For passenger and driver safety, inDrive has developed many functions, such as:
24/7 support
Position sharing in real time
Emergency button always available
Ride control
Total transparency brings back the feeling of control:
Passengers are free to choose their driver.
Drivers can choose which trips are most profitable and convenient for them.
Drivers see the exact route before accepting.
“We are excited to launch inDrive in Delhi. inDrive is a service that allows drivers and passengers to find each other and independently agree on all the terms of each trip. The passenger can use our app to offer their fare and receive counter- offers directly from nearby drivers. Drivers, in turn, have the right to decide for themselves which travel requests suit them best and can propose their own prices. Through our app, for example, passengers will pay Rs.160 to travel from New Delhi Railway Station to Lajpat Nagar and Rs.179/- to travel from Delhi Airport to Cyber City” said Pavit Nanda Anand, South Asia PR Manager, inDriver.
Unlike regular driving apps, inDrive aims to offer a unique service by allowing passengers and drivers freedom of choice. If the passenger receives multiple offers, they can choose based on the driver’s ETA, the price, the vehicle model and the driver’s rating. The driver can also choose a specific order based on price and distance, the passenger’s rating, pick-up location and the number of inDrive trips the customer has already taken.
“The number of active drivers in the city is growing rapidly. We already have thousands of registered drivers in Delhi NCR. All our driver partners are highly experienced and have completed the entire document verification process. With the launch of inDrive in Delhi NCR, users can now enjoy higher chances of booking a ride with shorter waiting times, and avoid high prices during peak hours”, added Pavit Nanda Anand, South Asia PR Manager, inDrive.
inDrive is a global IT and transport platform. inDrive is one of the world’s fastest growing online ride-hailing services. The services are available in over 700 cities in 47 countries worldwide. The company’s app has been downloaded over 150 million times. inDrive offers other services, including intercity transport, cargo and freight services, as well as delivery services in various operating markets.
Based in Mountain View, California, inDrive operates regional hubs in the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the CIS countries, employing over 2,400 people. In early 2021, inDrive achieved unicorn status after closing a $140 million investment round with Insight Partners, General Catalyst and Bond Capital, which valued the company at $1.23 billion.
