Sonova announced in December 2022 its completed acquisition of HYSOUND Group. The move was first announced in August 2022. HYSOUND Group is a leading audiology care chain in China. It comprises approximately 200 clinics in over 20 provinces and over 70 cities. This acquisition significantly expands Sonova’s store portfolio and provides greater direct consumer access in the fast-growing Chinese market.

WIDEX MYSOUND AND THE MOMENT APPS WIN BIG

The Widex MySound app was honored as a winner of the 2022 Hearing Technology Innovator Award presented in November 2022. Widex MySound was recognized in the Assistive Technology & Software: Mobile Apps category for its combination of artificial intelligence with user intent so that users can always hear what they prefer in a given environment. Widex MySound is the first hearing aid technology to use artificial intelligence to facilitate user adaptation.

The Widex Moment app was recognized in the CES 2023 Innovation Awards Software & Mobile Apps category for giving users control over a range of features on their Widex Moment hearing aids. The app was recently updated to include the MySound 2.0 audio adaptation system, and helpful user tips through My Guide.
