On December 1, Xiaomi will hold a new product launch event where it will release its latest flagship series, the Xiaomi 13 series. According to the company, MIUI 14 is an ultra-clean system with “minimum firmware, minimum memory usage and minimum non-uninstallable programs”.

According to Jin Fan, who is the head of MIUI development, MIUI 14 will have four major upgrades. The main features include

  • Fewer pre-installed system apps
  • More practical functions
  • New design language
  • A smoother and more stable system experience

According to reports, the pre-installed apps may be reduced to as little as eight only. Users can choose to delete some pre-installed apps and leave only relevant apps like phone calls, text messages, clocks, app stores and so on. Earlier today, Xiaomi also released the MIUI 14 logo, with the tagline “Forge new life”.

MIUI 14 promises to provide a new, smooth and efficient user experience. The MIUI 14 early adopters program started at 13:14 yesterday (November 28) and will end at 23:59 on December 28, 2022. From the perspective of the event rules, Xiaomi community users can register to participate in the MIUI 14 early adopter schedule under the event. The event is limited to one Xiaomi device (including but not limited to mobile phones and tablets) for registration. After successful registration, it cannot be replaced/cancelled. Be sure to confirm your device information when registering.

Xiaomi MIUI 14 early adopters plan activity

As we said earlier, the MIUI 14 early adopters program started yesterday. Xiaomi has released the “MIUI 14 Early adopters Program Activity Rules”. The rules of the event show that the MIUI 14 early adopters program is currently on and users only have about a month to join the event. As for the shape of the event, Xiaomi officials will give users the option to unlock based on the data assessed by the user’s history. Users can unlock the event page during the event time to earn experience qualifications or other rewards.

Users who have achieved experience qualification for MIUI 14 development version and Mijia 8.0 public beta experience qualification can go to “Xiaomi Community-My-My Internal Test” to see the participating internal tests and learn how to experience them. In addition, after achieving experience qualification for MIUI 14 development version, you need to wait patiently for the release. The print of the update will be in different groups for different models.

According to a report by MyDrivers, MIUI 14 may not include ads. The company wants to make the system attractive to users. According to the source, MIUI 14 will emphasize getting rid of bloatware and pre-installed apps. Xiaomi has already put in a lot of work in this regard in MIUI 13.
